They come from different backgrounds, Joe was a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality business and Jay had experience as a Real Estate Broker on Sanibel. Their partnership in Real Estate shared the same objective, to provide Legendary Service through knowledgable representatives.
The owners familiarity with the needs of the local islanders helped tremendously. Additionally, their affiliation with John R. Wood, as a national top 100 Broker, provided buyers from Naples and around the world. Jay Richter Managing Broker
Jay is the managing broker and has called Real Estate his profession since 1981. After obtaining a degree in Real Estate from Florida State University, Jay helped customers buy and sell in Michigan, Orlando and Sanibel Island Florida. For over 20 years Jay has held a Real Estate Brokers license and is licensed as a state Instructor to teach students the pre-license course, Core Law, and ethics. As a result of commitment to Excellence serving the customers of the islands Jay managed the office as they grew from $80 million to $406 million,which ranked as the #1 Real Estate firm on the Sanibel Island from 1997-2004. Jay resides on Sanibel with his wife Lori and they have four children, two in college.
Joe Mondelli
President
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in marketing, Joe has enjoyed success in both Real Estate development and the restaurant/hospitality industry. Devoting his full time interest in Real Estate after selling his award winning fine dining restaurant, banquet and conference business eleven years ago, Joe has enjoyed redirecting his marketing skills and talents here in paradise. Joe contributes his entrepreneurial spirit to several local charities and organizations, including Sanibel Captiva Cares, P.U.R.R.E., and Kiwanis. A member of Sanibel Community Church, he believes community begins with serving his neighbors. Joe and his wife, Linda, reside on Sanibel, enjoying the sun, sand, and water with their children and grandchildren. and a new son-in-law
Valerie Moessner Director of Administration
Valerie started her career on Sanibel in the vacation rental business, after 10 years of helping vacationers find a wonderful place to stay on Sanibel and Captiva she moved onto assisting realtors help their customers realizing the dream of ownership on our beautiful islands. She then moved into new home sales before taking a few years off after having twins. She reentered the real estate business helping the agents at John R Wood Island Real Estate.
