Maxine Holland
Maxine is proud to be a member of the JRW team. Originally from New England, she attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C. After graduating, she moved to New York and worked in sales and marketing for several years, typically in some facet of communications or media. She loved her time in New York because it allowed her to meet people from all over the world. She started out in satellite communications and had the opportunity to be a part of the Live Aid feeds, which was a truly remarkable project. Not only because it was one of the most massive satellite broadcasts of all time but because even with so many moving parts, it epitomized the enormous impact when we all work together for a common good. Nearly 2 billion people worldwide all inspired to come together for a day to prevent world hunger and all working together to find the common thread.
That is the way she has chosen to run her life and real estate business. When she left the Big Apple for SW Florida, she began her real estate career in Sarasota as an assistant at Coldwell Banker and then became licensed with Michael Saunders & Company. She learned quickly that there are also a lot of moving parts to every successful real estate transaction. Every member of the process is equally important, so communication is vital. Her philosophy is simple: “Integrity Matters”, and that means recognizing that a transaction is more than just a business exchange. She believes the process of buyer or selling a home is a very personal thing. She saw the market through the good time, insurmountably difficult times, and saw firsthand how deeply affected so many people were by the crash. Everyone has their own story and their own set of circumstances. As a realtor, it’s imperative to be mindful of that in order to provide her clients with the best possible service to meet their specific needs and goals. She loves to help people and appreciates how it feels to help someone realize their real estate dreams, big and small!
When she is not helping her clients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends on the beautiful SW coast of Florida. She is an old movie buff ever since she can remember and loves music….. all kinds. She has the same piano since her childhood and on a rainy day enjoys playing the piano and cooking; they like therapy to her. She may not be exceptionally good at either, but since she loves them both, her family has to put up with it!
