After beginning his career as a sports writing journalist in Minnesota, Mike moved into advertising, where he won a coveted CLEO Award for advertising excellence. He was head of International Sales for a banking software company, and he has had first-hand experiences in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Austral-Asian region. He views his role in the Sanibel real estate market as more of a consultant than a sales person, first providing clients with the information and data they need to make educated real estate buying and selling decisions, then following through on all the details necessary to complete the transaction successfully. Mike is an avid golfer, though he plays with more enthusiasm than outcome. He also enjoys boating and fishing.
